Greg started Tilsley Architects in 1991 and since then has developed the company into a well-respected firm committed to the aspirations of its clients. Attention to detail and demanding persistence for high quality standards are the basis of the creative influence for every project.

During his career, Greg has developed a unique understanding of the design and construction process through his many experiences with a variety of project delivery approaches. His flexibility to work with both owners and contractors, separately or in a team setting has provided the knowledge and experience to balance good design with cost effective solutions. His comprehension of the realistic dynamics of the entire process from start to finish has proved to be an asset to projects of all scales and types.

Greg’s primary focus is to direct and manage the design efforts of the firm. His knowledge of architecture transcends stylistic boundaries giving him the ability to adapt designs to the specific context of its environment and vision of the client. His hands on approach provides the leadership and direction to maintain the quality that each and every project requires.

Greg graduated from the University of Cincinnati’s College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP) School of Architecture in 1983, earning a professional degree in architecture. He is a licensed architect in the states of Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Pennsylvania, North and South Carolina.

As an inherent part of Cincinnati’s architectural culture, Greg is an active member of the American Institute of Architects, Architect’s Society of Ohio, National Trust for Historic Preservation, Mt. Adams Civic Association, Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce, Architectural Foundation of Cincinnati, and the Cincinnati Hillside Trust.
